Our Story

Built from the land
they love.

Grace and John's story, told in stone and oak.

The Hosts

Farmers, first
and always.

Grace and John have farmed Hillbrook Farm for decades. The land, the rhythm of the seasons, the quiet of the Lancashire hills — it's all they've ever known.

When they turned their attention to an old barn sitting quietly on a corner of the farm, they wanted to do something worthy of it. Not a conversion for its own sake, but a place built with real care — spacious, modern, and honest about where it sits.

The Setting

Tucked away, near
an ancient village.

Hill Brook Barn sits in a remote corner of Bolton by Bowland, just minutes from the ancient village of Sawley. This is the Ribble Valley at its most unhurried — no through roads, no noise, just open countryside rolling away in every direction.

The Space

Comfortable, spacious,
entirely yours.

Inside, everything is modern, considered, and generous. Step outside and a large stone patio puts you right in the landscape — morning coffee with nothing but fields ahead of you, evenings beneath open skies.

The fields are quiet.
The barn is waiting.

Grace and John built this place for one reason — a stay that recharges the soul. We think they managed it.
